Hi All

Not been going long in the domain name business, but trying to understand how to use Overture for my benefit.

Basically, I'm looking at a 3-generic word domain, let's say aaabbbccc.com. Now aaabbb.com name is already registered, as is aaa-bbb.com but aaabbbccc.com isn't and the ccc word adds another layer of "genericness" (is that a word?) to it. ccc is also a potentially big keyword on some if not all the pages that will make up the website.

Using Overture, I get the following results...

aaa bbb 34000 results
aaa-bbb 34000 results but not highlighted.
aaa bbb ccc No suggestions
ccc 144000 results

ccc is a generic name for ddd eee fff etc, and using Overture for these gives the following results...

aaa bbb ddd 1800 results
aaa bbb eee 1750 results
aaa bbb fff 1720 results
etc

So, how do I read these results? Will people searching for aaa bbb still find my site, even through it's aaabbbccc.com? What about if they search on aaa bbb ddd?

Finally, would you suggest buying the singular or plural of the domain name?

I'm looking at using the DN PPC templates, so any help getting this right would be appreciated!

Cheers

Dave
