Traffic domains are generally based upon revenue multiples, as a factor of how reliable the traffic is: generic, category names can sell for up to 100x revenue, while typos are closer to 12-18 months.

Thank you Brad. So a domain with 10000 hits a month with a 1000 clicks generating a minimum of $0.04 per click on that calculation would be an absolute minimum value $480. Is that correct please?

Kind regards

Not necessarily - it depends on the traffic source. For example, if the domain gets direct navigation (type-in traffic) from Western markets, it will have a much higher value than link-population traffic from Asia. Additionally, you'll need at least 6 months of data and full verification of the traffic source to get that type of valuation.

Thanks for your reply. Here is the visitor origin from sedo

Russia18.0 %Germany16.6 %Japan13.1 %United States10.8 %France6.2 %Ukraine3.8 %

The optimized keyword is the actual domain name. The domain averages between 250-350 hits per day consistently and the alexa traffic rank for last week is just over 1m.

Is it best to supply a screenshot of the sedo detail page when i put it up for sale?

Kind regards

If you're trying to sell it based on revenue, then you should post in this section with all the details - it's hard to sell on Sedo that way:
