Hello,

I am really trying to understand the business model of the domainers. I would like to ask whether you make money by finding good domains by using your tools and bidding them from a domain catcher, and sell them later ? Or you dont deal with deleting domains, and directly buy/sell domains.

If so please report how many of yoursales are based on making money from deleted domains or making money from by buying/selling..

Thanks

i would say most domainers dont have a business model, unless you consider buy low and sell high a business model.

as to your question there are many ways to skin the cat :)

I check daily drops.. And hand reg the ones that i find worth reging.. Many go to Snap and other auctions but you can still get a nice ROI.. For example i just finished negotiations yesterday on a domain that i hand registered for $7 a month ago.. The selling price through sedo yesterday was $700 :)

Thats good, but I wonder how many domains you hand-regged and negotiated with a better price successfuly. I think here, the rate is important. You might registered 100s of domains and only able to sell 1 domain for 700 usd, then it is even.

The reason i am asking especially this question to domainers to learn if they use any special software/tool to gather information about domains or they just surf in snapnames or a domain catcher site to find a good domain to make bsuiness.
