Primo or Premo? I think Premo, like premo domains. I just got off the phone with my brother and asked him out of the blue how he would spell it and he said primo.

Its primo. You'll find that it is basically Latin and Italian for the word prime (prima, primo), Spanish for premium (prima, primo)

Ya I was thinking of it as a diminutive of premium. Thanks, I guess that is why premodomains.com was open.

Maybe augmentative, is better than diminutive to describe the slang word usage.

This reminds me of an appraisal thread.

All responses not corresponding with the mindset of OP are dismissed.

Therefore, if you want to use Premo, by all means use Premo.

When asked what Premo means or stands for, by all means respond in-kind.

I defiantly agree with the proper usage. I am not arguing just wanted to see how other people think of it. I think Premo sounds looks American and Primo sounds French.

if the names listed aren't "premium", then the usage of the term either way, is misleading.

Urban Dictionary: premo

1. premo. a joint or blunt laced with coke. I smoked a fat premo with Ray Ray. ...

Why do you want to take something and try to make it mean what it does not mean?

That makes sense? Do you have a few mil laying around to rebrand something into something it is not?

Why even ask for opinions when opinions don't matter than differ from what you have already set your mind to? You are not actually looking for opinions but instead are looking for some one to agree.

When my wife got home today I asked her how to spell it and she spelled it premo, she said she thought about responding primo, but she didnt lol shes all American!

I asked how you spell it and am glad you responded it is very helpful. I can't take back my registration fee for premodomains.com so I am just going to try to enjoy it and this thread. The beer labels and rappers really made it fun.

Again, no need to take all of your 11 posts since 2006 taking up time asking a question that you have already made up your mind about.

So Ray Ray spells Primo as Premo

The right spelling is definitely Primo. A huge problem with "Premo" is that it looks like "Chemo" [common short way of saying "chemotherapy], which makes people think of cancer. Not the type of name you want to brand.

You can get a refund. Just cancel it and contact Godaddy, they will issue it.

If someone else registers it, refer them to this thread so you can see them delete it as well.

Good luck either way if you decide to keep it.

It is most definitely Primo. Primo is the latin/italian version of Prime as in the best, the top.

A definition for Primo exists at dictionary.com.

A definition for Premo does not exist at dictionary.com

The problem with using Premo is that it sounds like Primo and you will lose traffic to the Primo version of whatever domain you register.

If you had told me your website was PremoDomains.com over the phone I would type in PrimoDomains.com into my browser.

At the end of the day this is your decision, but you will always be fighting the correct version of the word.
