First of all, $10+ for a domain registration is too much. Go for a cheaper
registrar.
And I agree with Mr.Domains. Newly registered domains usually receive few
traffic. Therefore it's difficult to receive good income from parking these
domains. You need to get them listed in search engines and you need back-
links before you can park a domain. You will only get a good linkpop if you
put some content on the domain. Make a small but good website and forward
your domain to it. Then submit your domain(s) to search engines and try to
get some links pointing to your new websites. You can also display AdSense
ads, etc. on your website to make some money before the domains are parked.
Indeed, I think AdSense is much better than "normal" domain parking. It has
a higher cpc and a better ctr (my experience). Well, the ctr depends much
on your website's quality, but it's not very difficult to earn the registration
fees of your domains back within a year with using AdSense on your sites.
My tip is: Try AdSense first and you're not making enough money then try
parking your domains. But (as said before): Parking domains is only paying if
the domains already receive traffic.
