How Long Is A Drop?

Assuming the drop starts at 2pm for how long will the
names be drooped -10 minutes, 20 minutes, longer?

I often have the same question. Looking at the notifications from Snapnames and NW. It looks like the major drops are done by 2:40 - 2:50 pm (EST). But, I guess the names - the name catchers and drop clubs are not after, must start showing up? (I accept that the time line can change in either direction depending on the amount of names to be dropped.)

There are a number of drop experts on the forum.
Can someone be more exact about the time line.

Are the top names already in the baskets of Snap and NW by 2:10 pm?
