Hi,

It is my first time to use snaps.com.

I placed a backorder on a domain to be deletedd today.

I think the backorder is successful( I have seen that the exchanges left is changed from 3 to 0), but up to now, I have not been notified.

As with Snapnames.com, I will get informed with 2 to 3 hours, but now 8 hours passed.

Any advice?

My one successful snap through snaps.com took 7 days to notify me of successful snap.

I got a name through Snaps.com a few weeks ago and received the notification within an hour of the drop.

I have created a support request at snaps.com and also snapnames.com for this case. Up to now, no reply is received.
Perhaps it is because of weekend.

Snaps.com is an interface to Snapnames.com. We reflect what Snapnames gives us. If Snapnames gets a name and it takes up to a week for them to provide login info for the name, we take up to a week to provide login info for a name.

Most of the time that there is a delay, Snapnames will reduce your exchanges to zero to prevent you from clearing a snap on a name they already got. I have several snaps from 2 days ago and yesterday that the exchanges have been reduced to zero and it's obvious from looking at the whois that Snapnames got the names. I'm waiting patiently for the login info.

I also have snaps waiting login info but I think there is something
strange since:

1) I've never waited more than half a day for snapbacks (both from snapnames and snaps.com) to email me
credentials;
2) Looking at 25th April drop I can't understand how snapsnames, with a pool of 40x18, can loose sooooooooo many times.

Maybe (I hope) they are working/ tuning their technology/ system????

Nameowner,

You probally won't find anywhere cheaper than Domainsnaps.com at the current moment, it seems to be their introductory price to get people to order some snaps and eventually it will go up to what Snaps.com price is.

Let me suggest this to you as it saved me alot of time searching for paypal compatible places....get a paypal debit card. That way you can use your paypal funds at any credit card website and get a little money back on purchases. Just a thought.
