I have never used sedo before, and was wondering how many days do I have to make the payment after auction ends ?

I have found somewhere that it's 10 days, but the thread was from 2007...

Hello VTEC,

We ask buyers to send payment within 5 business days, with the aim of receiving the money within 10 business days. We cannot ask the seller to prepare the domain for transfer until we have secured the payment. A delay in payment may cause delays with the transaction including the amount of time needed to take control of the domain.

If you have any further questions regarding the transfer process you may contact your assigned transfer specialist directly or visit our Customer Support Center at www.support.sedo.com.

Thanks,

Lisa

My rant as I sit here waiting for a change in status to a name sold on the 4th of March.

You state payment is due in 5 biz days so why do you allow them to pay in 10? 5 days is plenty, do you mention they have 10 days and not really 5. I sold 1 name on the 4th of March and 1 on the 11th.

I just received confirmation that the payment for the domain sold on the 11th has been paid for but nothing about the domain sold on the 4th and luck has it its the bigger of the 2.

Lets say that I have had enough and dont wish to wait any longer, can you contact the second highest bidder for me and see if they still want the name or do I have to wait untill the 10th day to make such a request. There is no way I am giving this dead beat loser any more then 10 days to pay up.

What really bugs me is the person didnt just make 1 bid but placed many to out bid the other person, if this first bidder doesnt pay I hope he gets banned, its not like he can say sorry I didnt mean to bid seeing as he bid like 5+ times on the name in ?.
