I am one of them who writes, works and often eat with left hand. I enjoy being a left hander. My friends say I am different! I am not sure in what way.

Especially when I shop and sign my receipt at the checkout, I get the ultimate kick :) you know why because I write in such a way the receipts face will be facing the cashier and if a young girl or a pretty women is there she just stares at me :-#: like WoW you right in reverse! some times they put the receipt facing me on the table asking me sign, I will rotate it 180 degrees facing them and sign it.

Once there was an old lady who thought that I am faking and said "Can I see your ID sir!"

Let us see how many of you are left handers and have any experiences like me. For me it's all Good! please post.

you mean you "write in reverse" isnt it :p
but how is writing in reverse related to being a left hander? a right hander can write in reverse too. hehe

There are reasons why we have two hands: One hand to do the dirty jobs and the other one for the clean jobs.

Make sure you don't mix them up so always using one hand may not be a good idea!

"If the left side of the brain controls the right side of the body, then only left-handers are in their right minds!" :D

I use one hand to eat and the other one when I go to the bath room.
They are interchangeable and cleaned each day.

I too write & eat with my left but I'm right handed for EVERYTHING else.

Unless you can master the art of writing without resting your hand on the page, we lefties have to tilt the paper - otherwise your hand (following instead of leading) will just smear the fresh ink all over the page.

I don't know if any research on this exists, but I bet the percentage of left handers is greater among .us citizens than among europeans.
my brother used his left hand mostly when he was a child, but when he got to school, they pretty much forced him to learn how to write...with the right hand.he is now close to ambidextrous

Lefty here! Some people even say I've got two left hands...

Play tennis and write with left hand. Play golf with right hand, but use a left hand putter. Handball and basketball ambidextrous. When I play soccer, which happens only very rarely, I can only use my right foot, totally untalented with left leg. Eat "normally" like a right hander. Left hand if using spoon only, though.

Forcing left handers to use their right hand isn't very good I've heard, lucky they don't do that anymore. By the way, I've read somewhere that the percentage of people with an IQ above average is higher among left handers, but I don't want to start a fight here...

Life as a lefty is quite enjoyable. Come and join us! :)
