closed how much difference does a plural make

I've found a name that might be suitable for a client but it's singular and I think a plural would be more suitable but it's gone to one of those dreadful domain name speculators.:D

An example would be holidaytour.com instead of holidaytours.com. this is not the correct name as I haven't reg'd the one I want yet.

How much difference does that missing "s" make to its value and its use?

Depends entirely on the name, for instance tennisshoes.com in my opinion is worth more than tennisshoe.com, but then telephonedirectory.com is much better then telephonedirectories.com.

In my example the former doesn't make too much difference, but the latter makes a much bigger difference.

FootballAgent is better.

Sometimes the "s" or the lack of it will mess up the value of a domain.

example:
URLRedirection vs URLRedirections (the latter is way off)

OnlineCourse vs OnlineCourses (the former is weaker)


So it all depends on the name..you need to tell us it.
