How much have you invested?

Well, we have the age thread, so we might as well have this one:

What have you invested into domains (regs, 2nd hand buys etc)
and how much have you made?

I start:

Invested: $100

Made: $1000 plus some pretty good .us names

I have intested probably $10,000 into domain names, scripts, promotions.

I paid for that a few times over.

hmm... I invested about as much as I got back from it. Although I know a lot more now than then... AND I've bought some nice non-domain stuff as well

I've registered over 300 domain names in the short time that I've been in the domain game. Have sold about 20% of my portfolio within a 7 month period,with all my domains still in their 1st yr. of registration.

I have only bought 1 domain above registration cost.

I have invested enough to build my portfolio up to 1600+ names and gotten back enough to pay all the fees and leave me a bit left over. How much "a bit" might be in practice is none of anyone's business but mine

I have now over 500 names in my portfolio + some non domain stuff, started maybe two years ago with $200.

Invested more than $10K in the past 5 years. Recovered part of the investment and have names which can fetch me much more than my investments. I will wait and sell chicken instead of egg.

have over 1300 names first name bought cost £80 and sold for £1200 3 weeks later only realy sold about 6 names ,More into leasing making about £4000 month next year should double this up . better to buy name for say £10.00 max and lease for £20 month.Plus the name is always yours
