Hi,
This domain is being offered for sale at $999.00 and they won't even consider budging. BTW, Trinidad and Tobago is not a banana republic. It is oil-rich and booming. Projected growth is expected to be 8-10% a year for the next 15 years. It is the largest producers of methanol, urea and LNG in the world. It has the strongest per capita income in the Caribbean and Latin America after the American sub-states. They are now also initiating a huge tourist-marketing drive for the first time and don't own the dot com and the dot net.
Maybe the seller knows something we don't. Small countries are only now beginning to appreciate the importance of owning their domains. Jamaica has recently indicated that they will be going to court to try to get Jamaica.com while Puerto Rico is in court seeking Puerto Rico.com. I know that earlier in the game the asking price for Bahamas.com was 250,000.
Just thought you might find this interesting.
