Hi I was curious about something and not sure how to go about it. I have a domain name that might be useful to a very well known company. I'm not sure if they would be interested in it or not but how would I approach them? How do you know who to contact on a matter like this? Is there any chance they could take the domain? I domain doesn't actually have their company name in it but it could definitely be assoicated with it. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks again

Look up their company name and find their main domain name...find the contact email address there and send them an email asking them if they would be interested in the domain name.

i tried that but its not that easy. This company is a huge company. I even tried calling one of their support numbers but didn't do any good. The company is sony. So yea again I have no clue how to contact them.

Send a letter marked 'private & confidential' by *FedEx* to the president of Sony USA. I kid you not.

If in fact it's that site he'd better change it before he approaches them. Yes, best approach is to go straight to the top. You will usually end up with their branding and marketing people who take it back up the food chain after they've chewed on it.
