"Then she kind of moved toward me a little and I saw that blood, and I said, 'Oh, no. Miss Polk musta done shot herself,' " Dillon said.

Oh, no

It is darn scary how people are driven to the edge by this mess. The elderly ones suffer the most as their life's savings is what they are completely dependent on right now.

It wouldn't surprise me if others copy what she did... Way too many people in this country looking for a Government handout.

Your right! Congress should have listened to the voters and refused that 700 billion bailout. The government should stop giving these useless Wall Street welfare bums handouts!

It is. Things are really bad right now and there is no accountability for the people who put us in this mess, people who knowingly took out mortgages that they couldn't afford and predatory mortgage lenders.

I wouldn't be surprised either but I don't think the next few will get out of it.

And as the article says "this bill does nothing for people in her situation" which I fully agree. This bill bails out institutions that made bad decisions but does nothing for the average Joe. It makes more credit available which has the potential to make things worse, people borrowing more money that they cannot afford to pay back.

New era of economy :D

A new era for a lot of things.

The believe that they're putting their family in a better place (heaven) as opposed to here. It's not that uncommon.
