Hey guys,

it is often the case, or mostly, thate when I grab expired domains with Google PR that either after registration or the day after the PR drops to zero.

How do you guys maintain PR in such cases?

Thanks,
Mike

Google recognizes the domain expired now , the best thing to do is get a site underneath it immediately and you have a good chance of the PR returning soon.

Go and visit your local google-site, enter "Google PR" and have a look at the results!

Ahoi!

OK. So then, would it be wiser to sell a PR domain with content?

When you say immediately, do you mean like the same day you get the domain?

Yes DomainDame, ASAP , because google now recognizes the expire date and as soon as it drops the PR drops off the chart. You would get a site underneath it immediately and wait for the next PR update in hopes of gaining the PR back.

Yes, better to sell a PR site existing and holding the PR.

So, as a seller, I find a nice PR 5 domain that has expired. Instead of just selling the domain, I put some content under it then sell it as a complete site.

What I'm asking is, if I decide to try to grab domains with exsisting PR, I'd lke for the buyers to be able to retain it.

BUT, doesn't it also depend on if the sites backlinks retain?

Mainly I'm asking because I'm just getting started and domains with exsisting PR are obviously in demand. I don't want to be associated with BS if I sell these types of domains then the buyers lose PR. This loses trust in the buyer and perhaps jeopardizes any future transactions with them.

Do you see what I'm asking or trying to say?

Get a site under it and wait until the next PR update until you try and sell , because the domain is likely to lose the PR right away after it expires within days , then you have to gain the PR back, so you will be selling a true PR , also the backlinks don't usually go away that fast if there is a website under the domain.
