This is ridiculous.

I have spent perhaps the last 20 minutes trying to renew on expiring name (can't transfer out until I renew).

Nothing appearing or clicking is making any sense and doing nothing.

Any directions would help.

Thanks.

I have the same problem. I think you have to add credits before you renew !

yes, either add funds via paypal, etc. or you'll receive an invoice for the renewal payment via email.

had that issue a few weeks back and they explained over the phone

they still working on the bugs, but I don't plan on moving my names out.

Transfer the money to your account from paypal.
Do not use credit card as they do not work. They charged me twice and I am not sure if they fix it or not.
It took them two weeks to refund my money.

You can use paypal for renewal payments but you must renew several domain names at one time to use this method. This is because Moniker requires a minimum amount of $25 for all paypal payments and that amount is typically more than the cost of one domain name renewal.

To use paypal, use the pull down menu to renew the domain name(s) (this is described elsewhere) and wait about 30 minutes to an hour for Moniker to generate one or more invoices for the names.

To make a paypal payment, you must be able to view the one or more invoices under the "invoices" link so sometimes you have to wait up to an hour for them to appear.

Once you can view the one or more invoices for your domain name renewals, go to the "Payment Options" page on the left side menu bar and, once you arrive on the payment options page, click the paypal link (found in the middle of the page) and it will offer you a selection of invoices to pay.

Check the boxes to select the invoice(s) you want to pay and complete the paypal payment at paypal. You should then get a confirmation of a "paypal payment pending" and, typically within the hour, the domain names on the invoices should be renewed.

Moniker - Taking e-commerce back to the 1990's :D

Maybe you can send them a check via snail-mail?

Their system is so screwy.
It seems each renewal gets batched into a "invoice".
You will have to find that invoice and checkout (use paypal as their credit system has billed incorrectly).
The downside to this is that if there are several other names in that invoice they will all need to be renewed too as they are part of the same invoice.
There is a way to renew immediately under the "Renewal/Delete display" however you need to prepay I think.
When you prepay with paypal like I did last time, they just apply those funds to the earliest invoice.. not the ones you want to immediately renew.
or...

Transfer out.

their system is fucked

after finally prepaying some $ into account via paypal
you then check the domains and change to renew immediately, and ................ it doesn't
and also doesn't create an invoice
even though you get an email for each one stating you changed the term

moniker really deserves a special award at one of these domain conferences as the domain company that has fallen furthest down the toilet over the years and no-one there gives a shit

I didn't have an issue adding a credit card. It is a pain in the ass to have to add the card, then renew the name. It took me a couple minutes to figure out how to do that. I am glad to only have a couple names in my Moniker account.

I still have a $3.52 credit there and zero domains.
