Hi- does anyone know how to send a domain to a Sedo auction other than to have someone bid on it? What i mean is - is there any way to just LIST it for auction there or no?

*sorry mods if this is in the wrong place- was not sure where to post it.*

there most be some interest in your domain, why send it to the auction if noone want`s it? its just wasting your and other`s time...

well, thats kind of an odd thing to say LOL

Just because it does'nt have someone interested in it prior to seeing it does not mean they would not be interested in it if they saw it for sale. Sedo is way too big to "know" all the domains for sale at any given moment. If thats your opinion then why are you on DNF at all? Meaning that you know the domains you would be interested in so why come to DNF right? Simply look up the whois for those domains that you are interested in and contact the buyer directly if you feel that way :)

You can contact a sedo rep and they will let you auction the domain if they feel the quality of the domain is high enough.

Hi everyone,

To answer elitedomains' question, the only other way to send your domains to auction without first receiving an offer is to auction them off in our premium auction. Our premium auction is application-based.

If you're interested in applying, you can visit the Domain Management section in your Sedo account and check off the box next to the domain you would like to be considered. Then, from the drop down menu below your domain list choose "Apply for Premium Auction." Click on the red "Execute" button, and you will be brought to a new page. You will have the option to apply on this new page.

Applications are reviewed by Sedo’s Brokerage Department and will be approved if the following criteria are met:

• The domain is short, a real word and is easy to remember
• It is a generic domain, e.g. like car.com, creditcard.com or books.com
• The domain is easy to spell and not prone to typographical errors
• The domain is product-related and therefore has a high commercial value
• The domain doesn’t violate any third party rights (e.g. trademark rights)
• The TLD geographically matches the language of the domain name
• The reserve price for the domain is reasonable

You may have been to GreatDomains.com to bid on our monthly premium auctions there. From time to time, you will also notice other premium auctions being featured on Sedo. Stay tuned in to our newsletter and the Sedo homepage for updates regarding the premium auctions.

I hope this clarifies! Let me know if you have any questions.
