How to start auction at sedo with no reserve?

FAQ from sedo:

An auction may be started once you have received an offer through the standard Sedo marketplace, and this offer will serve as the starting bid and reserve price for your auction.

But how can I start an auction with no reserve(no bid)? Thanks!

go to DomainManagement
Choose the domain
on Bottom left of screen is a pulldown menu ( Beside RED "execute" button...) choose "Apply for Premium Auction"

They will be in touch ( or not )

Alternatively contact your account manager..

As I pointed out in this thread - http://www.dnforum.com/f490/sedo-needs-no-reserve-section-thread-256920.html#post1286381 - a "no reserve" section at Sedo would be a wise move. Obviously many people are wanting it. Sedo is terrible responding to requests for live auctions (as dolansco pointed out).

It looks like that the "premium auction" link is for upcoming premium name auctions and not "no reserve" names.

reserve is at 50. Is it better to put price expectation really low so there is more activity or is it better to raise the price expected?

This is bad advice.

It involves both fraud (shill bidding) and risk (if there are no other bids, the shill bidder will have to pay for it).

simply reads lower your bid to 50 to attract more buyers..... then ask someone if they would be willing to buy it for 50, with the idea of sending it to auction, if bidder wins 50 dollar bid and no one else bids, he gets the domain....

Not a fraud, ask someone - at least interested at $60 - to bid on it - to start the auction.

Yes it's a good teaser to be see by other bidders, and hope for the best.

If one wants to offer the "reserve" price, they will do it anyway by visiting the "Click here to make an offer". THEN, you can accept, counter-offer or take it to auction.

I commented on a particular post, who used the words - verbatim - "ask someone to bid $60 to start a 7 days auction".

This is an indication of condoning shill bidding. I'd like to see Sedo comment on this.

If I were willing, I would bid on my own. When you do that on a public auction site such as Sedo, it's like the track and field racers that are tagged as "rabbits": they pull the race up to a point, speeding up the pace and once the other runners reach that crucial point (see: reserve price) they literally pull out of the race.

Again, the post I commented on insinuated that the seller would ask for an artificial kickstart of the auction.

what is shill bidding?

the person doing the bidding is not interested in the domain and never has any intention of paying. He then makes multiple bids to prop price of product in auction(fraud)
