On 3/24, I contracted with someone from DNF to write a bunch of articles for a new website and was told it would take about a week to write them all. I paid a small deposit and followed up with the writer this past Monday (3/30) to ask how the articles would come to me (Word Doc vs PMs) and when they would start coming. He responded by saying he was partially done and half would be sent to me by the end of the day.

Needless to say, I have not received anything. I PM'd him a couple other times without a response, and he hasn't logged on since 3/31. The articles are the only thing missing for me to launch this new website.

What action would you take? I have never left anyone negative feedback here before, but I've never come across someone who is not getting in touch. I don't have a lot of free time, and I had kept yesterday and today open to build my new website.

I agree. I have left people negative feedback in the past and then had to retract it. He/She may not be intentionally avoiding you, probably bit off more then they could chew. I would drop him an email to the paypal email and give him a call or email, see if you can get it sorted out.

How is the user feedback rating thus far?

Is the person UK, US, or EU based?

The reason I asked is someone like me is deep into finalizing taxes.

So, does the person have several distractions?

That does not justify the tardiness.

Try to work it out on a cost per item, accept what has been done vs. what has been paid - then cease doing business with the individual.

Also try to remember the time differences involved. Many times I have wondered where the heck people are at only to check and see that it's 3 am in their country.

HI

I would keep sending him a few PMs per day or even send him and email.. as you never know he may be sick or something happened that stopped him getting online.

if you do not hear anything in 2-3 days from now.. put a complaint in with paypal if that is how you paid.

Thanks
Tom
