I am producing a feature length movie

Hi all,

I used to be pretty active here and I thought I'd give an update on what I've been up to. I'm still somewhat active in the domain name industry, but mostly for projects I'm working on, not for investment and/or speculation as much. Anyway, I've moved into movie production. Here's my current project:

about a year before 9/11, i attempted to write a screenplay about the Harlem Globetrotters and terrorists

but after 9/11 happened, i stopped

the guy with beard and woolly hat has the best screen presence, is he the only real actor?

not sure will work as a film but think a mini series would have been good then a film could have come later

I think it's pretty friggin awesome and impressive. Looks professional and all.

I doubt it will be a blockbuster, but I'm sure every other internet geek in the world wants a copy of this movie when it's released. Good luck and keep us updated!

OMG. I love cheesy spoof comedies like this! Can't wait to see it. When does it come out? Who would have thought to spoof the internet memes? HaHa! I had to pause because that guy looks just like Antoine Dodson...or is it really him?

The actors were almost primarily the real people from the popular viral videos. I was actually pretty happy with their performance. If you've seen any of those videos you'd know that they actually came really close to playing "themselves" quite accurately.

As for how much we spent... we spent enough.

The non viral video star roles will be recast when we shoot the full movie. We only shot this trailer so far to raise interest from big producers in Hollywood. So far we have some great interest and have some meetings scheduled in the near future. We also are in talks with several professional actors in Hollywood including at least one A-Lister right now who loves the concept.

For sure. The goal is for it to be a blockbuster actually. The budget for the trailer (we haven't shot the full movie yet) was certainly much different than what we hope to spend to shoot the entire thing. We plan to have special effects and everything.

Can't say for sure when it will come out since we haven't actually shot the movie itself yet, just the trailer (see responses above for more info). That IS Antoine Dodson. All of the people in this are the real people from the popular videos.

In that case I don't doubt it. I just wasn't aware that you were actually going to get Hollywood actors. I hope you don't forget about us domainers here at DNF when the premiere is set and you're a big Hollywood star.
