vbwm.com actually auctioned at TDNAM with 11 bids. Highest bid is $6005 :greenconfused:

I'm too lazy now to search for this domains history. But what is the reason for such interest :greenconfused: the keyword is just nonsense!

Want to sell my ql2f.com at half of this price :sigh2:

Sometimes a name could sell at TDNAM (or even Snapnames) for prices they are not worth. If there is a bidding war among the big players with deep pockets, this is likely to happen. It might be the case here.

Lucky seller lol :)

Edit:

I did some research

Estimated monthly visitors to this domain 33543

It's a 5 years old pr 1 domain and in 1998 was a developed site about 'Valencia BMW'.

But still can't see the $6k value in it  .

Exactly, with 6k I would make a nice 3 chars .com portfolio instead of buying such domain

i SOLD - d k i b .COM for just under 6k (Private Sale) a few months ago.

It turned out to be an acronym for an investment bank. I have sold a couple others for $xxxx (all bought at reg fee)

Hard one to speculate, as the domain is only worth something if a company really wants it.

Considering the Combination of 4 letter domains, it really is a long shot. The fact that these sales have been for high four figures is in no way a price guide to 4 letter domains.
