It is less than $500 but could reach that level.

Just because I said I was willing to spend upto $ 500 does not mean someone should demand $500. Thanks.

and just because you offer less, especially after claiming it worth $500 to you to get it, does not mean that anyone is obligated to catch it for you.

if it is worth $500, offer $500.
if not, don't say it is.

Some members of this forum have sent me private messages to try for $100 and I thank them for it. Atleast they did not try to squeeze me.

You could try using DropWizard.com, assuming somebody didn't beat you to the name :D

i was the one who said $500 if you think that's being greedy so be it. . . like cartoonz said if something is worth $500 and you'd pay that much , why would you tell me less now?

I'm offered. I NEVER demanded.
next time don't mention a price if you're not willing to pay it.

>URLtrader: ... I am willing to spend upto $500 to grab it.

Does it mean that the name is worth WAY MUCH MORE than $500? I am willing to spend e.g. $500 to get people.net ... And if it's a name that's only special to you, I'd guess you can probably buy it back from the new registrant for $500 or even less.

Just my DNF$1 (approx. two cents, accordingly to gregr's offer).

If you say it's worth $500 you'd be ripping someone else off paying them less than that if they got it for you. Don't be offended if someone wants to charge you what you said it was worth.

Some people sure are ungrateful.

ha. They offered $100. You told them the name? They go after it. Now what do you think is going to transpire after they get it? I hope you know who your dealing with before you reveal your name. If its a damned good name, you just been had by telling them what it is. Use your head.

That is why I have not disclosed the name. I sent email to a person asking him to sign and fax me an agreement. I have NOT
heard from them since 48 hours.
