Hello all…New here.
I’m a 28 yr old male that has started a business located in Chicago. A few years ago when the wife and me started having children I mess around with FrontPage. To post picture to view for family and friends that lived abroad.
Since then I have upgraded the software packages many times over. Currently using Dreamweaver MX.

I do have a inquiry or two: As I have found out, I’m not allowed to plug my business; unless I upgrade my membership, and that advertisement is only allowed in designated areas.

Am I on the right track so far?

If I could continue: And that your advertisement can only be viewed by people that have a membership level that allows its.

Also my understanding is that while you aren’t allowed to plug your own services, you are for others?

Gold Members are able to read all posts and are generally members who are buying or seeking webmaster advice.

If you are looking to promote your business, then you will need to upgrade to Platinum or Exclusive, both of these levels are well worth the initial expense.

Please explain what "plug" means? I think it means "advertise" but I could give you a crystal clear answer.

As for the memberships, it IS worth the expense, if I had enough money for exclusive I would get it but im just a kid. :)

To plug is to advertise.

Hi chidoug

i am also in chicago!

your answer is no........you may not advertise here unless you upgrade to platinum or exclusive.

and only in the appropriate sections of the forum!

as a gold member you are allowed to post advertisements for "domains wanted", if you are looking to buy domains or you may respond to any such requests in "domains wanted" section, should your domains meet the buyers criteria.

Thanks
