I see some amazing returns on very little traffic on a lot of domains sold here i mean go and check "domains with traffic" i got traffic domains but turning me pence..............what's going on ? or is it sedo are just baaaad payers ?

Not all traffics have same value.
Did you try Parked.com?

nope never tried parked to be honest........any good ?

Parked.com is very good - if your aqpplication gets rejected just PM DonSimon and he'll accept you.

I noticed less traffic but more clicks with parked. Plus, you can customize your pages better than Sedo and also add in some custom content (at the bottom).

Edit: Your best bet is to try several different ones. While parked.com may be better for a lot of (most?) domains, I've had one or two that did horrible w/ Parked and better with Sedo. It all depends on their style, their feed, the domain, etc. (But I've done much better with Parked with most of my domains).

Don't be afraid to try one program for a month, then move onto another, and so on.

there is only 1 parking company tbh: parked.com

i have domains top of yahoo that are with parked after adding a little content, and i mean above equivalent .coms that people have paid xxx,xxx for. Its hilarious

also sedo hamstring you in an number of ways:

1/ only pay 1 click although visitors may click more than 1, you think theyre not getting paid for them?
2/ they pay lowest returns known to man, i predict they will be found guilty of fraud in coming years over their parking 'program', as its so bad it doesnt add up
3/ domainers only park there through laziness and ignorance and hope to get offers at sedo

all in all, any experienced domainer still parking at sedo needs a frontal lobotamy imho

You sure hate sedo with passion :D

At parked, I get as high as 600% CTR.
1 visit - 6 click - $.20/click - $1.21 Revenue

Really the ctr comes down to many factors but how targeted the domain is, is vital. If you have a domain in a high paying industry like insurance/finance etc and while the trafic may be low the ctr can be good as they are where they want to be when they land :)

penced, hamstring you lol some crazy slang right there.

thanks guys i appreciate your thoughts and it looks like i'm gonna have try parked out :-)

Parked.com has performed the best for me by far, give it a shot you will be happy :)

lol that's funny!

i still park at sedo and currently i'm quite happy with the EPC on a "list" of domains.

sure, parked ain't bad, but it ain't #1 in my book

they all have their pluses and minuses.

one thing i can say is...that i sell $$,$$$ of domains thru sedo every year

by contrast, i haven't sold or received a single offer on any domain at parked.com

currently waiting on payment for the sale of a domain listed and parked on sedo.

:)

with parked you can edit the link and text at top.
for example, with many of my domains, i have that link going to one of my sales sites. there i negotiate direct, and pay no commission
i also get a crop of extra backlinks.

you can also add content to the bottom of the page and build minisites.
i have some still at sedo but mean to move them all over. maybe only 1% of portfolio

another thing, not kidding i sometimes get as many as 10 enquiries a week from parked contact pages that dont link through to my sales site also. admittedly not many result in sales, but same as sedo, lowballers exist everywhere, whereas sedo is overrun by lowballing domainers.
i get enquiries at sedo also, people not going via page, but searching direct on sedo

also amongst these enquiries on parked.com pages i also get genuine people trying to book holdays etc lol, not spammers, people sending full details and well thought out enquiries lol as some of the 'parked' pages look so realistic. i keep them in my account as adds value to the name as getting targetted enquiries, for when i sell later
