On my way back from doing some work in a store traffic slowed down on the highway.

Then I realized what was causing the slowdown.

Ice on the road.

You heard me right. Ice on the road - in the middle of August, in metropolitan south Florida.

ICE ON THE ROAD!!!

I guess a freezer truck was carrying bags of ice and lost some of it's load.

It was fun seeing the cars slide a little - luckily I didn't see any accidents. My years of driving in New England took over, too.

My worst fear is Miami drivers. :)

Luckily, this was near the Broward / Palm Beach county line.

I've driving in NYC more than once. Trust me, Miami is worse.

And no, I don't mean the tourist trap areas like South Beach, Bay Side, and the Metro Zoo, I'm talking REAL Miami.

You haven't driven in Miami until you've done the Palmetto from east to west on a Friday afternoon, Biscayne Blvd anytime from 8AM to 10PM, or even though Little Haiti.

Just don't do Pork & Beans (or is it Franks & Beans?)
