With all the problem with online banking and virii/spyware, banks should develop a linux based virtual machine, specifically dedicated for online banking.
Packaged as an application, when run, would act as a mini OS in itself, taking over mouse and keyboard input, and as it is a virtual machine, would talk directly to the hardware thereby eliminating any possibility of hijacked data, plus the whole communication is ssl encrypted anyway.
Im sure this could be done in just a few MB.
