Hello Everyone.......

I've been rebuilding my portfolio, letting some domains drop and picking up others, I think are much better ones to replace them. I really need some input from other domainers, to get a feel for how my portfolio is at this point. I want to start marketing some domains, and could use your thoughts, on what ones you think would be best to start with.

ProGolfSupply.com is the only one I would keep,
the rest would not even buy if they were available. It looks to me like you should spend more money on single names of higher quality than regging 50 names that have no value. Buy one or two good .infos or .us names instead of wasting money on a name for which the chances of someone wanting to buy them is pretty much zero. I think marketing those domains is a waste of time, people dont want to be bothered with low quality names, that effort only pays off for a name that is of high quality.

nice, some very good names.
I'd say sell some and buy more, try to target more commercial keywords.

Also park them at sedo or somewhere, if they get traffic and revenue they are worth much more.

15) AltBB.com .net and .org* see below
16) AltBBS.com .net and .org* see below
17) ClassifiedBB.com* see below
18) ClassifiedBBS.com* see below

See history for alt.bbs it's the mother of the internet as we know it now, still super big as news groups as most all good groups are under it. Google, yahoo many others, and all ISP's still carry them. See history of BBS, forums are now also called BB's or BBS's, this forum's script is a bbs/bb one, phpbb, and many others. It's a big part of internet history, and could be used for many things online. Forums, boards, Bulletin Board, or even whole Bulletin Board Systems. Talk, chat, forums, file sharing of all kinds, support, groups, ads, could be billed as a new internet just reinvent it's self. Keep in mind, you can use port :8080, or any other port with a domain.

Alt = Alternative or Alternate
BBS or BB = Bulletin Board System or Bulletin Board also called forum now

Alt.bbs = still the world biggest and finest news groups, for all kind of info, talk, file sharing, and support groups and more. You name it, all the free internet as we know it come from it. So it really is the mother, of the free internet as we know it. It's on the news group port, and google and yahoo plus other got it on port :8080 even the telnet port.

Now keep in mind no one owns or controls it's, or has any kind of trade mark on altbb or altbbs. And that you can use a domain, on any port and use your own interface for that. But not only that, you can use many open ports on a domain even. And interface 2 or more different ports, like you can interface the email port with port:8080.

They will think it's on port :8080, at that domain when infact they are just using port :8080 interface. Like gmail you can use on the email pop3 TCP/IP port 110, and also the :8080 web port interface. When you use the :8080 port, and don't know about the email pop3 port. You would never know, that it's really being sent on the pop3 port then. The news group port is port 119, plus there are many open ports you could use for stuff.

19) ArticleArchive.info* great for a article archive and/or info sites.
20) eKidsFitness.com* Kids heath is very big, info and/or selling for it sites.
21) ePhotoMart.com* photo stuff is very big, good for prints or photo gear sites.

SongBuff.com is one of the better ones.

StuffGuide.com is decent.

SureSpin.com could be some kind of gambling site or lottery-type site.

I suggest keeping it simple...like the names above. Imagine mentioning a few of your domains to a complete stranger who isn't in the domain business. If he/she doesn't have to ask any questions then the name probably makes sense and is worth something.
