I need some copyright help.

I need to get a copyright on a company name and I need to get a copyright on a term. I know how to get a copyright on for a business but how do you do it for a term? Would a lawyer be the best bet?

A lawyer would be your best bet.

A company registration can already protect your company name, and for a term/slogan I would recommend a trademark. But, I am not a lawyer and this is just an opinion, no professional advice.
