If you don't want to do much work then just simply add automated directory with free and paid listings. Keep your paid listing fee low. And add adsense.

and don't forget to promote your directory.

Pardon my ignorance to this, but how do I add an "automated directory?" Is that with the registrar?

I had thought about making a landing page and including links to affiliate info. Or, try to buy content via packages and sell it on a website using this domain.

If you have a few minutes, could you explain further and PM it to me? I appreciate your time. Thanks for the initial reply.

Happy Holidays.

Drop it, Ok, you won't make any money but think of all the savings ...

Why are you on the forums? Just to treat people like crap?

Happy Holidays, anyways.

Please stay off my thread. I am looking for help not to be ridiculed. I would NEVER do something like that. If my opinion is polite, I would keep it to myself. Something to say for people with class... it's just too bad some people are mad at the world and take it out on everyone around them.

There was a polite way to give constructive criticism, and that would have been far different from your post.

Now, cheer off.

NYDE, I accept you feel a 'love' for this domain but don't for one second consider it as making a viable business decision. There is no ridicule in my post, just a blunt and honest opinion ... as for your 'class' comment .. well!

EDIT:

If the OP feels that my posts should be removed then remove them. My opinion still stands.

I think you could put up a mini-site with basic information for web content writers, which you will have to carefully research. What do people starting out as content writers need to know and how can they get this knowledge? You could explain what makes a good, seo-friendly article that Google will like and investigate the various rates for the different types of writing. You could also discuss the importance of accuracy in grammar and spelling, as well in the content itself. You could also include a directory of free article sites and other useful links. From all this you would get at least five pages, in my opinion, and then add AdSense, for a start at least.

Here's my disclaimer, lol: I'm a writer, not a successful domainer (though I still have high hopes), so you might need a qualified second opinion on what I've said. Anyway, good luck with the development of the name, whatever way you decide to do it. :)

IMHO,

Make sure that your website is SEO optimized. If the search result is plentiful, you wanna make your website to reach top 3 of the search result to drive most traffic to your website.

Happy holidays,

or perhaps a site which brings content writers and people needing them together and charge a commission.

NYDE, there are different directory softwares available (search internet as I am not using any so can't recommend) that you can install on your hosting server. It's the one of the easiest way to start a simple site.

Else just make simple one page with different affiliate links.

BTW, if you don't like someone else opinion then just ignore it; don't reply. Else many people won't give you their opinions. Everyone has their own style to say things. Sometimes negative opinions are very helpful.

I'm sorry my pm regarding a paid content composition to your site came as such an unnatural shock to you. I suggest before you develop a site about internet content writers you familiarize yourself enough with the concept to know that money is paid for content and not offered as "assistance".

this could probably be in the web development area.

I think it is very difficult to start business by owing a domain name and then select the content suitable to it. The logic is to start by deciding the niche that you will be able to write and maintain and then select the appropriate domain.

great site..
it would be best to hire content writers and work along with them...

I wanted to open my own site but have very limited knowledge and time for the same.
Have been in the content business for over 4 years now and have a team of native english writers who work with me -- check my thread -- already 40+ve reviews of our work..

DO let me know if you have any work for us and if you would like to combine forces!!!

NYDE, if you target web content writers, you really have to aim to create some pretty darned good content yourself. I'm not sure you will manage to engage them much with cheap content. I have been reaching this audience with a few of my own sites over the last ten years, and it's a pretty discerning group. There are also some good people already writing to them. So if you go ahead - nice domain name, btw - you'll need to commit to creating some real value with your site.
