maybe this is being done, and if so i'd like to know where, but i think someone with good developing skills could pretty easily pull it off.
we are always checking the number of searches done on overture for a given domain or phrase. but i think if one could make the results historical, in other words give the last 12 months worth of searches, broken out by months.
a good example would be 'virus protection' when a new virus hits and gets exposure the phrase is probably searched 10-20fold compared to a calm month. i think knowing the search averages over the last 12 months gives a better insight to what the domain is worth.
what do you think? is it being done? can it be done?
