Downloaded and tested it and I must say I already love the new version of Internet Explorer.

First of all, IDNs work fine, but I also like the new interface and functions.

Looking forward to the final release!

(BTW, I agree that IDNs will jump in value once IE7 will officially be released.)

I love it too and I tend to hate MS products... been using firefox for over 2 years my only problem with FF is the memory leaks if I leave PC idle for a couple of hours and come back looking at a 400MB swap file just for FF...

IE7 is quite interesting actually, especially when you turn cleartype off ;)

I too, like the new IE7. Took a little "getting used to" the new interface, and getting tools set up etc. But overall seems to be a step in the right direction. I also tried some IDN inputs, this is a smooth process as well.
This release will bring 80% more users to the IDN market from around the world....that alone is a pretty staggering number.

Already IDN's are pasted on billboards in the far east and on Subways in Japan too! I was (not too long ago) an IDN Naysayer, but I can see the commercial advantages of doing business in your own native language...like people that don't read English remembering your website name because they can read it!!!

Yes, except this isn't new.net and earthlink this is Microsoft, Firefox, Icann, Verisign, Google, Yahoo, and many, many more. And this isn't some crappy ext, this is peoples actual languages. Not really comparable at at.
