As IE7 and Firefox are both IDN-enabled browsers, you can expect to see symbol-based domains in the near future (i.e. keyboard typeable symbols, that work off punycode in just the same way as regular IDN's).
Domains like â¬.com, for example, or £.com. There aren't that many, as not every keyboard symbol resolves in a domain but there are some well known symbols that do work and the two examples above are probably the most well known.
