Unless the church is advertising daily pancake breakfasts on the website the lawsuit seems ridiculous.

It would seem that the corporation isn't willing to pay the church's asking price for the domain and decided to invest some attorney hours to tenderize the Pastor.

Hopefully someone in his congregation is an attorney and can file a reply to the lawsuit for him.

Would you boycott IHOP if the church lost?

The churches which have multiple locations have started to serve breakfast, and that promoted the lawsuit. I agree they should go after all the domains but they really want to go after the church because of its sketchy ideals. I doubt their is any confusion but if they are having pancake breakfasts and selling IHOP t-shirts that is a violation and trademark infringement. They are using the ihop name to further there own name.
