well guys im back, what a trip, truely amazing.
just goes to show how much i knew lol, cos when i arrived we stayed in boulder for 1 nite , then drove up to salida for 2 days rafting on the arkansas river.
therer was 4 of us, 2 of his m8s from las vegas, so it was an awesome scenery driving from boulder which is 1 mile above sea level, to salida which is 2 miles above.
if theres any rafters out there we did the browns canyon the first day, bit tame we all thought, all though the last bit was good.
the next day we went for the big one, royal gorge. wow what can i say, your rafting down class 3-4 rapids in a beautiful gorge, with the highest suspension bridge in the world above you. you got a huge train passing alongside you as your rafting, theres this crazy train that comes down at a very sharp angle, and all the while theres helicopters flying just over your head through the gorge. the rafting was totaly awesome, big thrills, nearly losing the raft haha, but still great fun. its taken me something like 30 hours to get home, im totally wasted, but it was worth every single minute. you american people have one lovely country, and i found you all very friendly guys, and now i have 2 friends from las vegas.
peace guys

I have rafted Brown's Canyon many times. Royal Gorge is absolutely stunning. Too bad you did not have a chance to shoot the numbers (which is north of Salida up towards Buena Vista / Leadville). The Numbers are a stretch of class 3-6 rapids. That is quite a thrill!

You passed right by my property while you were up there. If I had known, I would have let you camp there. :)

yes in hindsight we think we should of done numbers now instead of browns canyon, but i suppose it was a good starter for the gorge.
did you go to the fibark bob?
we were there fri and sat nite, had a great time listening to that music/watching the guys kayaking.
bensons and vics in salida got a lot of my money in them2 nites hehe
