So I have roughly 130 domain names, most of them are randomly parked bringing in chump change. My one site that I focused on and developed is bringing in $2-3 a day. I want to ideally have all 130 sites bringing in a minimum of a dollar a day, but the problem is I don't have the expertise nor the time to develop 130 unique sites.

What would you do if you had 130 domains and didn't have the expertise or time to develop them ?

Sell them or drop them.

even if I was willing to put some money into it you wouldnt say have them developed ?

I should mention I'm willing to even do a 50/50 revenue split if someone develops the sites and I have them hosted

Sell 'em. Nothing worth developing. Try and get reg fee and then invest in some decent domains. I'm not preaching; I've done the same thing myself.

Hello...

Your names aren't worth developing... however, don't drop it... park it and wait for offers... I have sold a few crapy credit / debt domains myself. I would personally think that those were worthless, but we never known that they bring in more interested buyers than other sectors of domains.

Agreed. The names are not outstanding.
Don't worry, it's normal to make mistakes in the beginning.
It's part of the learning curve as long as you don't burn your budget.

"Decent domains"

1. No squats.
2. Modest but consistent revenue from PPC, from good back links.
3. Good generics.
4. Eminently brandable.
5. Something you believe in for the long term.

You may want to search names that are dropping...every once in a while, you can get a steal for under $100. Check out snapnames.com.

Good luck

Hi Stealx

I live in Chicago also, and a couple of your names have potential imo.

I'm surprised that your are not getting enough revenue from them, to at least pay renewal fees.

Yes, if you have a good blog on a subject you are passionate about, or indeed any other site upon which you can focus your attention, then concentrate on that! There's no 'instant reward' in the business of building. You have to persevere. Good luck!

I used to live north of Chicago, too. Does that count?
