I've had really mixed reviews on this one.

infiniti.org

Regged in November 2000 (almost 11 years old).

Had an appraisal come back quite high but I was informed it might have been a dodgy one. I'm just looking to see if someone can give an honest review of this bad boy.

Thanks.

infiniti is made by nissan.

I wouldn't go anywhere near it myself.

The domain has been going along fine for 11 years without any complaints on their part. Obviously if a large site is developed, this might change things but in terms of just reselling the domain, are there any ideas on the value?

I'd love to hear some opinions.

infiniti is made by nissan.

I forgot about that.

I'd normally say stay away due to the trademark issues... but just because it's Nissan, I am advocating that you fight tooth and nail to keep it out of their possession, and you have my 100% support in doing this.

For domainers not familiar with Nissan and domain names, I will draw your attention to this travesty: http://www.nissan.com/Lawsuit/The_Story.php

Nissan Motor Company has these weird ideas that they're somehow entitled to the nissan.com domain name, and tried to reverse hijack it out of its legitimate owner, Nissan Computer Corporation.

I so happen not to drive, living in a transit-friendly metropolis, but I will never, under any circumstance, short of my life depending on it, drive, own, or recommend that anybody own, a vehicle made by Nissan.

They don't deserve to own nissan.com, for any reason - and if I have anything to do with it, the name in question here will not be theirs either.

Getting back to the point, I will appraise this name at about $1,500.

Parked page is showing ads for Nissan Infiniti and their competitors. That shows bad faith registration IMO. Tip: Change your parking keyword or take the domain off parking and put a for sale landing page.

As it stands in it's current parked state it's worth minus several thousand dollars. If you don't want to lose the domain (and potentially face legal action) I'd stop showing car adverts on it.
