the spain tourism agency uses .info as its main site.
Cant recall the exact domain, but its advertized on CNN (International edition).
I see it on TV all the time.

also quite a few .orgs advertised there.

CNN does a lot of .ORGs, must be for tax rightoffs :)

But as to .INFO, yeah, this .extension was created for the new World Wide Web, .COM was created for the Veronica, Archie and Gopher geeks back in 1985. Remember those DOS files? That exe.com one?

I heard another alt extension on the radio today. Someone was advertising a .mil for military benefits.
