Well, I'm thinking of selling this group of (12) info names in a block. Have other sites to focus on now. You guys know what you're doing more than I. What do you suggest for a bulk value?

Carpets.info
Dieting.info
Laserprinter.info
Magazine.info
Minnesota.info
Modems.info
Newspaper.info
Picture.info
Planetickets.info
Recipe.info
Resort.info
Skiresorts.info

Thanks for your time and comments.

Those are some nice names. I'm too newbian to even begin to appraise a bulk price for those.

I think they are worth around a $150 each. .Infos aren't particularly valuable. Sadly the era of multi million dollar domains has burnt out.

Great names... it may be difficult to sell them as a group to an end user (highest profit), though, because an end user may not have a use for all of them. More likely another speculator would like to take them off your hands, but for a lower price as urlguru said above.

I think some of these names are worth more than $10K (Dieting.info; Minnesota.info) while others (Resort.info; Magazine.info; Newspaper.info) are probably worth between $5-10K; others may be around $1K. It all depends on who wants it and how badly. Just hang on to these; renewal costs for just 12 should not be that prohibitive even if it comes to that. I am not sure you'd get good price as a block since in that case you're primarily looking at speculators and not genuine end-users.

Great names for .INFO. You can sell these names higher than $100 each...

Wait for another year and this will cost more ...

so sad to see that most of dot INFOs are acquired by domain resellers who register for resale. This is why the prices are bargain.

  • Recipe.info could be quite valuable ("Recipe" is usually number #22 or thereabouts on Most Searched for Keyword lists-- 1 Mil+ searches/ month) and it's a topic that lends itself well to an informational site. $5K to $10K
  • Dieting is also a good .info site $2K to $5K
  • Minnesota.info-- OK, so Minnesota is not exactly a hot tourist destination, but I think all geographic .infos could have good potential in the long term. $1K to $2K
Any of the others could probably sell from just under a thousand to several thousand with luck...

...Although in the long term if .info fulfills expectations (hopes?), then they could all be worth considerably more. It would be a shame to let them all go at a cut-rate without giving a shot at selling them individually... I don't know what you've done so far, but I know that you have not yet tried the one domain marketplace that has been successful selling .infos (can you guess which one? ;-)

Good luck!

Thanks for the comments and appraisals! Took me a bit to get back to the Forum.

I have received a couple e-mails with offers as well and will be talking with my partner on what to do next and will respond. A lot of people have asked why I would sell such a good group of info names and not wait for a while since all were registered for two years.

We were monitoring the process at ICANN since the beginning of the proposed new gTLDs. We originally employed a very sharp company (almost 2 years ago) to acquire our targeted group of names with the intentions of developing sites for all of these, but in working toward that end, we have discovered (duh!) that it can be a bigger undertaking than imagined. We have therefor decided to focus on our primary list of categories Financial, Motorcycles, Complimentary Medicine, Taxes, Skateboards and a few others.

We have even been put to the test on a WIPO challenge (which we won) by documenting our "prior to any notice" efforts on all.

These would be out first "sales", having never actually sold a name before. El Newbie Dude We would like to see all these developed by someone who has the time.

We now have a picture framed up on our wall here that reads " Find you joy in something finished, and not a thousand things begun". Nuff said?
