Hello everyone,
I am creating a forum and I was wondering, what is better #####forum.INFO or #####forum.NET? Also, will #####-forum.INFO/NET be better?

Thanks,
Chris

I would go with .net because it's a more well-known/higer valued TLD. And I would but a domain with a hyphen unless the one without a hyphen was taken.

.net if it's available, and avoid the hyphen

Go with .net for the forum. While .info is a good extension, it is best when applied selectively.

I'm really wondering how many people commenting here ACTUALLY SELL .net and .info?

I do... and I get about triple price for .info over .net.

1998 called and wanted their extension valuations back....

.net, because ... .info has 4 letters and .net has 3.

.info works particular well with cities/places, informational sites, fan sites and lots of others. It's not a matter of beting "better", but rather a matter of the extension fitting well, and, in many cases .info does a solid job :)

wether .net or .info is better for general use is a highly subjective topic and really depends on the keywords.
I as well deal heavily with .info and have done some very good sales (more than .net).

However, for a forum, there is no question in my mind that .net is better.
and I prefer XXXXXXXforum.net than XXXXXXXXXforuminfo.com
