Hi All

I am looking for a website publishing solution - specifically one that is similar to http://www.engadget.com/ and also has the feature where you can create categories and subdomains - e.g. computer category = http://computers.domain.com

I would prefer something is already commerically available. Then all I would need is to commission someone to skin it for me.

Any help much appreciated!

Thanks, Matt.

You should be able to create the subdomains using the webhosting control panel provided by your host. Certain CMSs like Drupal will let you manage multiple sites (subdomains) using one backend so look for that functionality.

Check out Drupal at http://www.DruPal.org ... its open source and free ... very easy to setup and lots of free mods that are available to help you customize it ...

Wow, Drupal does look pretty sweet, do you have any additional theme/hack/addon sites for it?

Someone also mentioned Movable Type.

Yeah cheers for that, just wondering if there is any other big unofficial community sites (like there are for most other open source CMS like this) with tonnes of stuff.

Thanks!
