I would imagine these wouldn't stick to leather wheel cover/boots would they? Also do we have to go through eBay and what would the cost be in US funds including shipping to the US.

ã4.99 looks a bit pricy. You can buy a pre-cut alphabets package for less and they are weather-proof (not to the scale of Andrew I guess). And I'm almost certain you can get a local sign guy to do this for more or less the same price instead of going through eBay.

I use these guys, the name comes on clear plastic and sticks inside window via static cling. Nice to remove and use with whatever vehicle your using.
