The nice people over @ http://www.chateaumanzanillo.com/ offered me $500 & I could stay at their resort for life for the domain "MexicoTravel.org" (Hi Duke :cheeky:).

Heh.. although it would be nice I don't think I would be likely to go to Mexico more than a couple times.

Plus, I think I going to develop this one unless I get an offer I can't refuse. :-D

Nice offer..
If you were closer.. and could make use of the free resort accomod.. that would be a "sweet deal"..
Still not a bad offer of $500..

What kind of price are you seeking? goodluck!

Let's just say I would most likely turn down anything below $5k. :-D

Too bad where the resort is located isn't located closer to Escondido, California... Sure, Escondido is right on the border but the resort is half a country away. :-(

I don't know... to have a resort in Mexico free for life might be worth considering. Don't you fly for vacations anyway? I'd seriously consider it...

I hear ya MD.. I would accept it in a heartbeat if they had a resort chain around the world or US, but to be restricted to one place...

I have a strong urge to develop it so it's not going to be easy to get it off me.. :-D

It doesn't mean they would honor their offer a year from now.

And, what about if they go out of business? Or, if they sell out to
Marriott?

I would consider taking some kind trade. Like having a family re-union
there.

If they were serious about the offer and really wanted this domain, I wonder (paying for resort accomodation for you for "life"), why they didn't offer you more then $500?!

get 2 weeks accomodation per year in writing and take it!
That's way over $5,000 and you'll get VIP.

It wold have to be structured in a legally binding contract, valid in 2 countries.
