I have not seen a Kiosk for a lot of years - but it's still a nice and common word. Grab anything over $100 ;)

In French speaking countries, there are 3 types of "kiosques" :

- to sell newspapers, flowers, etc ...;
- to put an orchester in a garden (to listen to);
- some videotex accessible from Minitel (a precursor of internet)

Same signification in English ?

Thank you for your appraisals and comments.

Your definitions of kiosk apply to Italian and Spanish too but I do not know about English, mine is too poor.

Actually I have no knowledge about how is the market for Internet kiosks in general but what I can see is that advetisers are payng over $2 pe click for keyword "internet kiosk" on OVT.

Thanks,

internetkiosk, internetpagoda, internetstand, internetgazebo

I dont have time to check their availability now but these have been great choices for domain names. They signifiy a place most people are familiar with. Perhaps a significant benefit to these names was their similarity to a real structure, a place people felt comfortable visiting for a stress free interaction.

The internet has evolved and clever domain names have evolved as well. This one is the sort of middle-of-the-way classic still on demand, it seems.

I d say you on track with this one. You are the one .com operating a kiosk selling a chock-full of internet's goodies --but I can't help wondering why all the other extensions are taken but not developed.

nice domain, I notice a few companies with similar domains, one using the hyphen for example. Might get a small amount of traffic and definately looks sellable to me.

Maybe they are al waiting for you to dvelop this one.
My first reaction would be an ISP but they are a dying breed.
Glad to see the others like it also.

Good domain. There was a lot of talk about kiosks for a while. I just died out it seems. Nevertheless, it is a great domain imo. Would have to do some more research on it to give it any value.

Good luck!

I think you'll be able to sell this one eventually.
I have seen several internet kiosks in malls.
