I don't see value in it from a reseller point of view...

and you've received 3 offers after owning it for only 2 weeks?

I think it's just asking for trouble with a TM issue.

Take the highest offer that comes to you and get it out of your hands.

My appraisal, to keep my post in the spirit of the appraisal forum; low $xxx.

Here's my appraisal: $-400,000

It's a lawsuit waiting to happen.

Why do you say that, I don't have the freedom to buy a domain of my choice? You think I should get rid of it for a quick offer?

No, you do not have the right to steal a famous, registered, and distinctive trademark. It is someone else's property. You should not have registered it in the first place.

Euphoria, have you ever heard of WIPO?

I would advise that you look them up. That's who you have to answer to when a trademark owner decides to open up an arbitration case against you.

Thousands of domains have been turned over to their rightful owners as a result of WIPO, and Facebook will be no exception.

Have a look at this case;

http://wipo.int/amc/en/domains/decisions/html/2008/dau2008-0007.html

The respondent could have made the exact same argument as you made, and his domain got taken right away from him.

You are allowed to buy any domain you choose but that also entails being responsible for the consequences.

I don't see how you can make legitimate use of this domain. I have seen many domains with TM's in them that can be used legitimately. This isn't one of them.

Its a pure TM violation. As such, many parking sites would blackball it from even being added to parking.

Surprising that there are buyers for a hot potato like this one - the greater fool theory definitely applies to domaining.

The name is worth zero. You are lying if you say you have received a stock offer. In fact, you are 100 percent lying, so I am willing to bet that you cannot show any proof whatsover that you received a stock offer on this worthless name. If you can provide proof I will quit DN Forum. If you cannot, then you gotta go.

To show up out of nowhere and just start lying right off the bat is not a good sign. Shame on you for being a dishonest disgrace. I am willing to wager my Dn Forum membership that you are a liar and a fraud. I would never trust you in any type of business endeavor and I will never take any statements you ever make seriously after this nonsense thread. It is so outrageous that you need to delete your membership and not waste people's time.

How can it be that someone who outright lies like this is not shunned and shamed by EVERYBODY who reads this idiotic thread? I bust FRAUDS all the time, and yet not many people in the domain industry take a stand against obvious outright lies like this. There is zero chance he is telling the truth, so show some guts and decency and throw his ass out.

it wasn't anything major I guess I exaggerated a little bit cause I was excited. by stock option, I picked the wrong words, it was with someone I know that wants to start a web design business. I don't mean to cause trouble sorry. I'm not trying to do anything wrong, I'm new to domain business and I am learning a lot. I know I made a mistake by posting that and am sorry.
