So I've noticed today that Google is reporting only about 10%-15% of search results that it has been previously reporting.
Examples:
Search term: "owned"

Previously - ~250,000,000 results.
Today - 27,800,000 results.

Search term: "csi miami"
Previously - ~ 4,000,000 results
Today - 331,000 results.

Is something up with my options or did anybody else notice the trend too?

:-\

I get 250 million as well. Are you looking at another Google locale, e.g. Ukraine? Or, are you logged in as a Google user?

I have noticed Google has been showing a fraction of the normal search results. They are showing different results at random times. I have already posted a thread on this subject. I have been using Yahoo to check for search term popularity.

Acro: no, am using normal google and not logged in. I don't know why we have such different results.

Visual: that's about as much as I'm getting, when just yesterday it was well over 250,000,000

Yahoo shows over 430,000,000 for the same term.

Anybody have an explanation?
