I recently aquired some lll.info domains via backorder.

There are a few .info auctions just now and most seem to be going for between $100-$150.

I'm happy to keep the domains for a while if it means getting a good price but I am considering selling via sedo. However, Sedo has a 10% fee for sales and a minimum fee of $50

With most of these domains costing me around $60 or $70 to backorder, a sale of $150 would only give me a $30 profit, not much by any standards.

Is it worth selling cheap domains via domain marketplaces like Sedo or do you think it's better to sell them on domain forums and keep Sedo for premium domains.

Cheers,
Kevin

I may have misread the help page.

Underneath the 10% sales price this page says there is a minimum of $50. Does this mean there is a minimum $50 fee or that the min sales price is $50?

Be sure your names have been parked on sedo for at least 32 days before you put them on auction or you may be charged the minimum $50 fee. Its also a good idea to be sure they have been visited at least once otherwise sedo may not even recognize them as being parked there.

Also be aware that sedo does not forgo the $50 minimum on all extensions.....I'm not sure about the info extention so look that up before putting them up for auction.

I thought the $50 was the min price for selling and not the min fee which will be charged. Do you know for sure?

.info is in the same category as .com (most major tld's are).

yes, I know for sure $50 is the minimum fee sedo charges if you don't have your name parked on sedo for a minimum of 32 days. This was verified with an email to me from sedo just a few days ago. They also reminded me that all tlds are not eligible.

$60 is the minimum offer that will put a name on auction if you choose to. I don't know where the $50 figure fits in this.

Save sedo for domains targeted higher than $200. Others for lower target user.
