I just registered BoatVacation.com.

0 links come up at Market Leap, it's ranked in the 3 millions at Alexa, and it's had nothing more than a "coming soon" page up in the past according to Archive.org.

However, this turned up at Overture:

Count Search Term
64 boatvacation.com

It's strange because the term "boat vacation" only turned up 58 counts.

Am I not reading this right?

I don't think this is an example of speculators checking in on the name, else they would've registered it when it dropped early this morning.

Thanks for your input,

Cynthia

Looks to be all speculators, because the name was recently expired. It won't carry over to the next month.

I will often go to a search engine and search for the recently expired names to see if they were popular in a past life. I'm sure others do the same.

boatvacations.com would be the one that got the type-ins and that's already set up. boat vacation might get some search results as some ses ignore the final s. But the name doesn't matter for this unless you use it internaly for file names.
