Hey guys,

Not sure where to stick this thread.

I was wondering if the Escrow option for a domain not for sale at Sedo is (or can be made) private.

Is this an option?

Thanks,

Skinny

Yes it can be, simply notify your broker or rep you wish for it to remain private. A 2.5% fee is added to the price.

When you look at your buyer panel for the name it should be clearly added so before you pay, read the text :)

Currently sedo escrow is private by default, other wise buyer/seller requested to make it public. also they are not charging anything extra other than regular 3% or minimum $50 escrow fee.

You are very wrong on this. It is public by default and private by request.

Sedo escrow have changed that role, now by default it is private.

I have used sedo escrow recently, by entering domain details on escrow, system will automatically set below message on transfer history.

This transaction will NOT be made public.

Same i even confirmed with trsansfer agent.

The buyer didn't request it, but it set automatically by our system that external escrows won't published except requested by both parties.

Alright thanks a lot guys,

I'll keep my eyes open. I guess it doesn't hurt to request it if I don't see anything explicit.
