I have a car related website which i no longer want to maintain.
Can I park the domain name at ND or somewhere else and leave it there?
I do have some traffic from SE as I promoted it before but I no longer will promote it or do anything with it.

Thanks

Welcome to DNForum. Of course you are allowed to park any domain with ND. Just register with ND, park your site and start generating income.
good luck

All subdomains are automatically redirected.

If you park "yourdomain.com" and you have "sub.yourdomain.com", you don't need to park this last one... it's automatically redirected.

Yes, thanks Vorty.

If you have a subdomain, the traffic is caught as part of the domain itself. If however, you are planning to set up a load of subdomains and then try to monetise them as "separate" domains, this is obviously not allowed.

ED,

i am planning to set up a load fo subdomains and will try to moetise them as part of main domian not a seprate domains. All sub domains will be forwarded to main domain it self. but traffic will come from subdomain to parked main domain.

example: main domain www.kpo.com is parked on namedrive

now i am creating sub domains

job.kpo.com
kpojob.kpo.com
kpojobs.kpo.com
kpotraining.kpo.com
bpo.kpo.com
kporesources.kpo.com

all above sub domains forwarded to www.kpo.com

Hope this will be allowed and donot voilate your terms.

Pls reply

It makes no sense to create sub domains for parking because noone else is going to know these sub domains exist. If you are going to advertise them that is also not allowed, so really no point...
