Yesterday I was after 29 names.
I had 9 snaps ,5 at godaddy, 28 at pool, 5 winning bids at namewinner.

At first I thought I had 1 out of 9 snaps. Today after checking the whois I saw I might have won another one. The whois shows that it was caught by a snapnames partner but nothing more. I have not received an email about it.
Also saw one of my snaps sitting unregged!!!!
This one had $110 bid at namewinner, godaddy, pool etc...

How can this be?????????????????? This is crazy!

Also I got 0 out of 5 at godaddy and 7 out of 28 went to auction at pool. 1 out of 5 at namewinner.

Bring it on...
I need some peace....

Pool's free-for-all strength is its weakness, imho. You put in 28 out of 29 names for them to allocate to their partner RRPs, whereas you only had 9 committed snaps. Simple mathematics - if Pool gets more well known and they need to carry the burden of escalating thousands of names every 24hr drop cycle, their probability of successful grabs will go down.

I am not complaining about Pool's statistics. They are ok I think.
I didn't check where the other 20 snaps went but I guess that Pool did better than snap. Snapnames caught only the names with no bids at namewinner.

Why wasn't this one domain caught by any service?

Snapnames has sucked for a while now. Many times they won't even attempt to register domains during the drop. In the past few months, snapnames has let several domains come available, and remain available for over 24hours, even with the snapback on it.
